FREE Credit Report Every 12 Months

    By DaveM | March 2, 2005

Depending on which state you live in, you can now get a FREE credit report from this new central site. Request a free credit file disclosure, commonly called a credit report, once every 12 months from each of the nationwide consumer credit reporting companies: Equifax, Experian and TransUnion.

This is GREAT info to have so you know what creditors know about you, and also to make sure your information is correct and see if you have any negative marks that need to be cleared up. And, if you only request one at a time, you can have a new one every 4 months to stay on top of your credit file!
